Previous project responsibility
(Permanent position 2012 – 2023)

Project 1 - at BMW - 2012

Development of electric mobility

In this project, I was responsible for commissioning new software versions. I analyzed and resolved errors in the software and control units of electric drive test benches and electric vehicles. At the start of my work, my main task was to fully assemble the electric drive test bench, including all control units and the powertrain. The goal was to ensure high-voltage readiness and operational readiness, as well as to establish a rotating shaft.

Project 2 - at BMW - 2013

Requirements management

With my in-depth knowledge, I was tasked with writing the specifications for the high-voltage power management system. In this process, I worked closely with the functional engineer from BMW and the software engineer from Bosch. After clarifying the functions and verifying their programmability, I documented them as requirements in the specifications document.

Project 3 - at BMW - 2014

Analysis of power electronics

In my third project, my focus was on analyzing defective power electronics from production and development electric vehicles. Every power electronics unit, regardless of its condition, underwent my quality control. Finally, I prepared a detailed analysis report, which I forwarded to various development departments. This ensured that identified failure mechanisms and quality deviations were systematically integrated into the development and optimization processes of subsequent generations of power electronics.

Project 4 - at Audi - 2015

Test case specification for the development of electronically controlled all-wheel drive systems
Hardware in the Loop ( HiL)

My tasks included creating test cases in DOORS and executing them on the HiL to verify the created test case specifications.

Arbeiten am Computer

Project 5 - at AUDI - 2016

Test automation for engine electronics
Hardware in the Loop (HiL)

Responsible for the implementation and execution of automated tests on HiL systems.

Project 6 - at BMW - 2017 to 2018

Programming of rest bus simulation with MATLAB/Simulink for HiL

MATLAB/Simulink was used to program the residual bus simulations for the HiL (Hardware in the Lab). Subsequently, it was verified whether these residual bus simulations functioned flawlessly in combination with the corresponding control units and BMW software on the HiL.

Project 7 - at CSA - 2019 to 2020

High-voltage safety for electromobility

Issuance of charging and driving authorizations for BMW electric vehicles in accordance with the norms and standards relating to high-voltage safety (ECE-R100, ISO 6469-3).

Elektroauto

Project 8 - at MAN - 2021

System responsible for
powertrain-functions

The powertrain functions were supported up to SOP (Start of Production). My main tasks included developing test concepts and creating detailed test specifications. Furthermore, I conducted tests and played a key role in developing test automation for the hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) test benches. A significant part of my work also involved analyzing and documenting test results, including error management.

Project 9 - at Deutsche Bahn - 2022

Planning engineer for
control and safety technology

Signals, points, interlocking systems, and train control systems were designed using AutoCAD and ProSig. Additionally, calculations regarding the influence of the signal cables were performed as part of the planning process.
